A LITTLE ABOUT ME
Hello. I am Stefano.an Experience Designer.a Photographer.a Product Owner.a Conversion Lover-Hater.a Free Smiler.a son of the Mobile First Generation .
Yes, this website is based on a cheap wordpress template. I am trying to work on it on a regularly basis, clearly having to adapt to the limits of such a platform. My hands don’t know how to code a website with the same level of detail that my head demands. I leave that to the real experts, those creative heads that are mastering the art of coding. The solution that I found in this theme is a simple, responsive, not-too-designed template that helps me occupying this space on “The Internet”.
On this site you’ll find some of my works, a lot of words (some might be trying a bit too much, but you have to allow me..), my contact info and sooner or later a blog where I can “download my brain” into.
Please don’t mix it with UX; As UI is very different from UX, also XD is quite different from UX. I would prefer you to mix it with Service Design, if you have to.
Experience design for me is taking care of user experiences not only on digital platforms. The blend of digital and physical is the spot where I have the most fun. My users are not only the final users of a service, but all the characters involved in an experience, including my client.
I believe that a good project does not start with the ambition of leaving a dent in the universe. My goal is more to take care of the interaction between a product and a service, in order to create a meaningful, effortless and eventually pleasant experience.
Interaction design is that satchel of tool like transitions, animations, gestures (and so on), that are making a pleasant experience memorable. My past education at Delft University of Technology gave me the tools to consider Interaction Design as fundamental for both digital and physical objects.
USABILITY & CONVERSION
You might think “ohhh..you just put those two together..well, I believe in my role being pleasing the users’ needs; therefore I have to put in account my client being my user too. And he definitely wants to make sure that website converts, whatever converts is/mean for clients and brands.
Usability, well, if you are here you probably don’t need me to explain it..
I am not a project manager. But I do believe in my role being, sometimes, the one having to take the decision. My project management perspective is simply working with many talents at the same time, leading them toward choosing the best and most coherent directions and simply taking the burden of syncing from their heads. Product management is part of the role, from task creation to sprints handling.
